A few years ago I began a meditation practise..
It was a practise that I kept hearing could make all the difference in ones life. It took a while for me to even try it because I, like you, thought “what is the point of sitting quietly for some time?, when I know my mind will wander, there is no point”..
But I tried it anyways, and everyone who told me to try it was correct
Being mindful, and adding meditation into your life is one of those baby steps towards living a a healthier, happier life. It has made into a better parent, a better partner to my husband, be a better friend, a better stranger to those I don’t even know, and I even started eating healthier & going to the gym.. The GYM PEOPLE!. I have never been to the gym in my whole life, so this was a big step. I am loving the changes that I am seeing in my own life, so naturally I want to share this practise onto others.
I took a meditation teaching course last year in Edmonton, and Finally decided to take the plunge. I am teaming up with Hot Yoga on 20th and starting a Saturday morning meditation. It is for those who are just starting out, or for people who just want to be apart of a meditation community. So please join us when your able too. We would love to have you there 🙂
