Oh my goodness this was one of the cutest sessions I have ever photographed!. This little guy Marcus was such a good poser for photos!.. & He thoroughly enjoyed smashing the cake! which is always so entertaining to watch.

I have had the pleasure of photographing this family quite a few times over the past few years, and finally it was time for Freya’s One Year session & Cake Smash. We picked a Unicorn theme.. and it was SOOOO cute!. I painted a rainbow backdrop and the cake was from Candy and Cake Sugar Design.
I always love a newborn session when the new little one has an older sibling who is specifically 2 years old.. You never know how the session will turn out.. The trick I think is to go in with ZERO expectations.. and then we see where the session will take us.. Big sister Emery did an amazing job!.. it started off a bit rocky but she just loves her new sister.. and we got some awesome photos! Here are some of my faves
I just love this family. This is their 3rd baby girl that I have had the privilege to photograph. I have gotten to know them so well over the past 5 years and that is definitely one of my favourite perks in my line of work. Here are some shots from their session of Miss Briar
For all that know me, know my love for parties.. so when Sarah told me they were expecting a baby, the wheels in my brain started turning… I get to plan a baby shower!! Yay!! So I went with a Flamingo theme.. for no particular reason.. but I am just loving that look and especially the colour scheme.. I ordered a gorgeous centrepiece from Blossoms, I found pretty decorations from Michaels, the macaroons were made by my lovely friend Robin.. (after I failed 3 times to make them myself)… & the cake and cookies are from Jessie Virginia
Babies nickname is Lentil..
