Backyard Wedding in August… Kristy & Jamie

I was lucky enough to photograph this little family 3 times last year… First at their maternity session, then the newborn session.. and then for their surprise wedding.

Yes, a surprise wedding!…

On the day of Jasper’s baptism, everyone was dressed up, family was visiting from out of town, and they were all ready to celebrate when the couple told everyone they were also going to be having a small outdoor wedding ceremony just a few hours following the baptism.

The family was ecstatic.

It had rained off and on almost the whole day and exactly at 5pm the sun shone through the clouds as Kristy walked down the aisle. Kristy looked stunning in her vintage wedding dress and beautiful head piece. (Jamie of course looked handsome too).

They said their vows, which brought everyone to teary smiles… and we took some photos in the park behind the house.

The day was simply perfect. Congratulations you guys!.. and thank you so much for letting me be apart of your exciting events.

Baby Shower

For anyone who knows me, they know how much I love to throw parties.. and what better reason then a wonderful baby shower and gender reveal for one of my best friends!

Stacey and Brennan are expecting their new baby in just over 2 months.. and we were all so excited to find out what it would be!.. My guess was a girl… and I am so glad I was right.. They revealed the gender with a pair of red Hunter rain boots. So cute!!!

To make things easy we had the event at the Little Bird Patisserie. There were some delectable desserts and a hot chocolate station. It was the perfect evening to catch up with friends and of course celebrate with these new parents to be.
